Yoga for Beginners

A new three-week series offered Tuesdays at noon

January 28, February 4 & 11

 

Join VIDA yoga teacher Ellie Justice, Yoga Alliance RYT200, for a Beginner’s Hatha Yoga series especially designed for those newer to yoga. Yoga for Beginners will offer participants an opportunity to learn some of the fundamentals of Hatha Yoga and experience the benefits of this powerful practice in a supportive, welcoming space. Participants will learn classic yoga poses with special attention to alignment and the coordination of breath and movement. Yoga props will increase the safety, comfort and effectiveness of postures. Each week builds on the prior session while shining light on particular aspects of yoga practice.

This series is free to VIDA members. Space is limited to allow for individualized support and instruction. Please RSVP to register through Proximity of via email (ellie.s.justice@gmail.com) by January 24 to reserve your spot. Participants are strongly encouraged to attend to all three sessions.
